Who is the newbie on SHAKA? That would be “JCT on SHAKA 103”!

And have you guessed the accent yet? JCT is from Sydney Australia but has lived in various places around the world for the last 20+ years so she’s inevitably picked up a few influences from here and there.

JCT loves to travel and has lived in Ireland, Curaçao, Puerto Rico (twice), The Bahamas and now on Kauaʻi (since mid 2021). “We plan on being here a while. And why wouldn’t we? It’s paradise! There is something very special and magical about Kaua’i. We are blessed to be here.”

In her diverse career, JCT has mainly worked in public relations and promotions but she’s also dabbled in theater, worked extensively in hospitality, managed and taught at a horse riding stable and been a solider in the Australian Army Reserve.

Outside of radio, JCT enjoys spending time with her hubby and their two boys (and Taz the crazy cat!), exploring Kauaʻi and the other Hawaiian islands, going to live shows and travelling. Particularly going “home” to Oz to see family. She also fosters fur balls from the Kauaʻi Humane Society and volunteers at the Kaua’i Squadron of Civil Air Patrol.
